The president of the USA is both the head of the State and Head of the government. But in the case of India, the president, who is indirectly elected is the head of the state. While the prime minister, who is directly elected is the Head of the government. As mentioned earlier, the president of the USA can not contest more than two times. Whereas, there is no such limit for President or Prime minister in India
